During 2021, Holy Trinity undertook a project to upgrade and modernize our church sound system. The new system is now complete, and includes speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and control systems. From all over the world, viewers may tune in to our view our weekday and weekend Masses and other liturgies online, with crystal clear audio and video.
We partnered with a Shreveport-based company, Claiborne Sharp Professional Audio, who specializes in the design and installation of audio and video systems to meet the needs of churches and commercial spaces. Claiborne Sharp Professional Audio, founded in 1989, is dedicated to continually offering the best products and services in the professional audio field.
Our new system includes multiple Sony pan-tilt-zoom high-resolution video cameras that allows us to broadcast the Holy Mass and other liturgies directly to our parish website and Facebook page.
Our new speakers and related components are manufactured and tuned by Renkus-Heinz, Inc., a California-based manufacturer of loudspeakers and professional sound reinforcement equipment. Renkus-Heinz specializes in "digital beam loudspeaker steering technology": an innovation that allows sound to be focused and defined. The company has taken the leadership role in developing this technology, which allows locations of all size, shape, and construction type to truly leverage the power of amazing audio.
We are are grateful to our generous parishioners who funded this capital improvement by their generous contributions to our parish. We now enjoy a much-improved audio experience, especially for those who are hearing impaired.
