Every Summer, Holy Trinity Catholic Church sponsors an action-packed, fun-filled, high-energy, non-stop, tuition-based week-long camp for children. Our inagural camp in 2021 was a complete success!  Based on the phrase “it’s kids,” we call it "‘sKIDZ Camp"!  Our 2022 camp is scheduled for June 20-24, 2022.

'sKIDZ camp is hosted in the classrooms, theater/auditorium, and Alumni Hall at the Diocese of Shreveport Catholic Center (3500 Fairfield Ave., Shreveport, LA 71101).
Please consider registering your children (graduating from grades 1-6) to attend 'sKIDZ Camp. The campers participate in teams which rotate daily though modules which emphasize music, movement, art and drama.  Each day includes a recess period featuring a different physical relay, a quiet-time rest period, a noon meal and an afternoon snack. On the final evening, the children  perform an evening musical production for parents and friends!

Tuition is $150 per camper (commensurate with prices of other area day camps). Additional siblings in the same household may receive a family discount.  Tuition includes instructional, art and music supplies (with listening CD of the selected musical), daily nutritional lunches and snacks, and a “Blue Bell and Brownies Buffet” for parents and friends following the Friday evening performance of the camp musical.  Instruction in each module is conducted by qualified adult specialists and sponsors who rotate with each team and participate in all group activities. 

We view ‘sKIDZ Camp as a wonderful opportunity to serve the people of our parish and our diocese, and to glorify God. Catholics and non-Catholics are welcome!

All adults (and older teens as youth assistants) will have completed Virtus/Protecting God’s Children certification. Campus security is present. Call our parish office to learn more about this fun Summer event!
