A pilgrimage is a journey to a shrine, holy place, or sanctuary for a religious purpose. The practice of making pilgrimage is an ancient one. During his earthly life, Jesus Christ made pilgrimages to Jerusalem for the great traditional Jewish feasts. Today, Christians continue to recognize that the Church needs places wherein the community can gather.
Does any place of pilgrimage stir your heart to visit some day? At Holy Trinity Catholic Church, we would like to consider a parish pilgrimage as a long-term goal. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic restricts our ability to make a pilgrimage at this time. However, if you desire to participate in a pilgrimage some day in the future, you are invited to contact the parish office to suggest a destination.
