Honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary

As Catholics we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary with a ceremonial “May Crowning.”  On May 1, 2021, Holy Trinity's First Communion class carried a crown of flowers in a solemn procession, to be placed upon our newly blessed image of Mary, the Immaculate Heart.

The title "Queen of Heaven" affirms that Mary is a perfect follower of Jesus Christ, who is the absolute “crown” of creation. So, when we honor Our Lady the Blessed Virgin Mary, we honor her Son as well.
